Artist Statement
Pixie Felts and Silks is a Richmond, BC–based mother-daughter studio founded by Natalia Zisman and Irena Nevolsky. Since 2012, we have been creating distinctive felted clothing and accessories that blend traditional felting techniques with fine sewing craftsmanship.
Our work is inspired by nature, color, and texture. In 2018, we expanded our practice to include eco-printing local flora onto silk, allowing us to capture the beauty of the natural world directly onto fabric. Each piece is thoughtfully handmade, combining the softness of wool with the richness of silk and carefully selected recycled materials.
We are passionate about upcycling and sustainability, often incorporating reclaimed fabrics into our designs to create wearable art that is both expressive and environmentally mindful. From elegant scarves and garments to sculptural hats and accessories, every creation reflects our love of artistry, individuality, and timeless craftsmanship.

Natalie, the felt artist is such a nice person to message to. Her customers satisfaction is her top priority. I’ve ordered this white scarf, during the process of making it, she sent to me the photos of the progress of the making and I was not satisfied with the initial design, so she went to remake a new scarf to my satisfaction. The craftsmanship is also high quality and beautifully made with pretty details to discover here and there on the scarf. I absolutely recommend this shop if you want too quality customer services and top quality craftsmanship.
